ULYSSES' CREWMEN

Insurgent Theatre is bringing their radical play ULYSSES' CREWMEN to The Firefly on Wednesday, April 14th. Ulysses' Crewmen tells the tale of the kidnapping of a US trade official, refutes lessons from Homer's Odyssey, and confronts the audience with burning questions using revolutionary theatre techniques. The play has been performed throughout the midwest and east coast since August 2009, including a performance at the G20 summit protests in Pittsburgh.

I just saw them tonight up here in Gainesville and they told me they were heading down to Miami, so I thought I'd give yall a heads up if you didn't already know about Insurgent Theater. This was a great, powerful play and a wonderful form of pedagogy. The talk afterwards was very rewarding as well. I hope yall enjoy.
